As a member of the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra, I am very blessed to receive two free tickets to each Masterworks concert. The GSO is always an incredible treat to watch. Their concert programs are well chosen and suit each other. Performances are on Thursday and Saturday nights for the Masterworks series and they even provide a special event before the concert if you want to learn more abotu the music they're playing that evening. It is an amazing experience to sit in the audience and see this beautiful painting that the musicians are creating with their instruments with all the musical colors. This season has been a fantastic one with the theme of Beethoven's greatest works.

The Greensboro Symphony is one of the best local city symphonys I have heard. They have 12 classical concerts a year (the 2005 season hasnt started yet). The prices for seats range from $20 to $32 dollars a seat. Tickets to one of these concerts makes a great gift around the holidays. The parking isnt always the best in this area but there are a few parking decks around.
